The extra-fine #3000 grit corundum whetstone disc optimises and refines the result of the standard diamond grinding disc. After this, the very ultra-fine #6000 grit corundum whetstone disc brings out even more sharpness and ensures an even smoother cutting bevel.

Both corundum whetstones can be used without water.

A final strop with the HORL leather delivers the ultimate edge.

The set include : HORL Whetstone #3000 fine, HORL Whetstone #6000 extra fine HORL Leather. The corundum whetstones with #3000 and #6000 grit are designed to further refine the result of the sharpening process after using the diamond grinding disc of the HORL sharpeners. When simply screwed onto the sharpener, you can refine the edge of the sharpened blade of your high-quality kitchen knives by using the #3000 then the #6000 to achieve a maximum sharpness. The stones can be used without water. When the sharpening process is done, the knife is wiped over the HORL leather to free the blade from all grinding residue and provide the final sharpness.
