PERFORMANCE

The sensitivity of the detector is determined primarily by the size, shape, and composition of the object being detected.

LOW SENSITIVITY OPERATION

Press and hold the low sensitivity switch during detection. The scanner will then only respond to larger metal objects such as handguns and knives, and will not detect small metal objects such as coins, keys, hatpins, etc. Do not release the low sensitivity switch until detection is complete.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY SOCKET

• A 9-volt rechargeable battery can be used to power the detector.
• Charging time is approximately 4 to 6 hours for a full charge. The charging socket is located on the side of the detector.
• Note: Turn off the detector before charging.

VIBRATOR BUTTON

The detector is equipped with a vibration button, also located on the side of the unit. The vibration function is recommended for noisy environments or when the audio alarm should not be heard. Press the button for vibration mode; release it for audio alarm mode.

NOTES:

• If the green light does not turn on, turns off completely, or if the unit emits unusual alarm sounds, the device is not functioning properly. Do not use it until the battery has been recharged or replaced.
• If the detector will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage, which may cause serious damage to the unit.
• When not in use, store the detector in a dry, warm environment.
