Handpan Stand – Tripod Tongue Drum Holder, for 12-22 Inch Drum, Solid Wood — Open-Box, 12% Off

THE STABILITY YOUR HANDPAN DESERVES: A wobbly stand kills the resonance before your fingers even touch the steel. This solid wood tripod plants itself on any surface—stage, studio, or grass—and stays there. Triangular geometry does the work: three legs, zero shake, so every note rings true.

REAL WOOD, REAL QUIET: Unlike metal stands that hum along or rattle when you play, the solid hardwood frame absorbs vibration naturally. The result? Only the sound of your handpan, not the hardware. Plus, the grain looks as warm as the tone sounds—no black plastic, no industrial tubing.

ROPES THAT ADAPT, CUSHIONS THAT PROTECT: The adjustable rope system expands or contracts to cradle drums from 12 to 22 inches. Sponge cushions line every contact point, gripping gently so your instrument doesn't slide—and more importantly, doesn't scratch. Adjust it once, play for hours.

FOLDS LIKE A CAMERA TRIPOD, CARRIES LIKE A DREAM: Twist to loosen, collapse the legs, and the stand shrinks to roughly 19 x 11 inches—small enough for a backpack or handpan bag pocket. From living room practice to mountaintop sessions, your stand comes with you.

FROM YOGA STUDIO TO CAMPFIRE CIRCLE: Whether you're leading a sound bath, playing a street performance, or unwinding under the stars, this stand fits the setting. It's a thoughtful gift for the handpan beginner finding their first notes, or the seasoned player adding a reliable second stand to their kit.

Your handpan is a precision instrument. It shouldn't balance on your lap or a folding chair. This solid wood tripod stand gives it a stable, dedicated platform—whether you're playing a 12-inch tongue drum or a full 22-inch handpan. The rope-adjusted arms cradle gently, the sponge cushions protect the finish, and the whole thing folds flat when the music stops. One stand. Every session. No compromise. 【3 Tips for the Perfect Setup】 Spread the legs wide: The wider the tripod stance, the lower the center of gravity. For energetic playing, set the legs to their maximum spread. Center the drum on the cushions: Let the sponge pads take the weight evenly. A centered drum rings fuller and the stand stays quieter. Store it dry: Solid wood lasts a lifetime if kept dry. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure in rain or heavy dew. 【Frequently Asked Questions】 Q: What size handpans and tongue drums fit this stand? A: The rope-adjusted arms accommodate instruments from 12 to 22 inches in diameter. This covers most standard handpans, steel tongue drums, and similar percussion instruments. Q: Will the wood crack or warp over time? A: The solid hardwood is selected for stability. With normal indoor use and dry storage, the stand will maintain its shape and strength for years. Avoid prolonged exposure to rain or extreme humidity. Q: Do the sponge cushions leave marks on my drum? A: No. The soft sponge material is non-abrasive and grips gently without leaving residue, stains, or scratches on your instrument's finish. Q: Can I use this stand on uneven ground outdoors? A: Yes. The three-leg tripod design self-levels on grass, dirt, or slightly uneven surfaces far better than a four-leg stand. Adjust each leg's position independently for stability. Q: How compact is it when folded? A: When fully collapsed, the stand measures approximately 19.29 x 11.81 inches (forward fold) or 21.65 x 9.84 inches (reverse fold). It's compact enough to fit in a backpack or the outer pocket of many handpan bags. Q: Is this suitable for professional performances? A: Absolutely. The solid wood construction and rope-adjusted arms provide reliable, quiet support for stage use. Many performers appreciate the natural aesthetic that complements the handpan's visual and sonic beauty.
