Material and care: this metal juicer hand press is cast aluminum alloy. Hand wash it with warm soapy water before first use, rinse and towel-dry after every use, and keep it out of the dishwasher. This fruit press juicer is a full-size lever press for lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit - for cocktails at the home bar, a pitcher of lemonade or fresh morning juice. The long handle does the work: a steady push squeezes a halved fruit, and the juice collects in the 20 oz (0.6 L) bowl until you pour it through the spout. Use this citrus squeezer hand press as a bar juicer for margaritas and mojitos, for fresh orange or grapefruit juice one half at a time, or as a pomegranate juicer press. This hand juice press replaces a small handheld lemon juicer or citrus squeezer when you need more than a few drops. Press slowly for the least splashing and hold the base with your other hand for a steady press. The metal fruit press is about 9.3 inches long. This manual juicer is made for citrus and pomegranate; it is not made for ginger, carrots or other hard produce.
