The automatic tethered float switch starts the pump when water reaches about 18 in and shuts it off around 7 in, making it best for deeper water removal applications rather than shallow puddle draining.
The full 304 stainless steel housing and reinforced intake base are designed for dirty water drainage and help the pump pass solids up to 1-1/3 in. Thermal overload protection helps protect the 115V motor during demanding water removal tasks.
The included multi-size adapter kit connects to 3/4 in garden hose thread, 1 in, 1-1/4 in, 1-1/2 in and 2 in hose options for flexible setup. A 25 ft grounded power cord and included rope help make installation easier in deeper pits or hard-to-reach drainage areas.
