GARRET 12000/16000 Surf Fishing Reel - Heavy Duty Saltwater Spinning Reel, 60LB Carbon Drag, Magnesium Alloy Body, CNC Aluminum + 2 Graphite Interchangeable Spools, Long-Cast Worm Shaft System — Open-Box, 5% Off

【ADJUSTABLE LINE CAPACITY — 3 SPOOLS INCLUDED】The GARRET surf fishing reel comes with a CNC-machined aluminum Braid-Ready deep spool, plus two high-strength graphite spool inserts for quick conversion to medium-depth or shallow-depth configurations. Whether you need maximum line capacity for long-distance casting or a shallower setup optimized for heavy braided line, simply swap the insert — three spool depths, one reel.

【LIGHTWEIGHT MAGNESIUM ALLOY CONSTRUCTION】The magnesium alloy frame and rotor deliver exceptional rigidity while keeping the overall weight low, reducing arm fatigue during long surf sessions. The CNC aluminum screw-in handle arm with an oversized ball knob provides a firm, comfortable grip with zero back-play or wobble on every retrieve.

【55LB SMOOTH CARBON FIBER DRAG】Engineered with a multi-disc carbon fiber drag system rated to 60 lbs, this saltwater spinning reel delivers consistent, near-silent drag performance under extreme pressure. Whether you're fighting a bull drum, shark, or big ray in heavy surf, the drag releases line seamlessly without jerking or sticking.

【WORM SHAFT DUAL OSCILLATION SYSTEM】The precision worm shaft drive system pairs with a dual line guide structure to minimize rotor vibration and lay line evenly across the spool during every retrieve. The result is improved line management, reduced tangles, and noticeably longer, more consistent casts — all internal gears are passivation-treated for long-term durability.

【BUILT FOR SALTWATER DURABILITY】Double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings and precision silicone seals at critical junctions provide strong resistance to moisture, sand, and saltwater intrusion. Designed and tested for demanding surf, pier, and offshore conditions — built to perform season after season.

The GARRET 16000 surf Fishingreel is engineered for anglers who demand performance without compromise. Built around a lightweight yet rigid magnesium alloy frame, this heavy-duty surf spinning reel is designed to handle the most demanding saltwater environments — from open beach surf casting to pier and offshore applications. At the heart of the reel is a precision worm shaft drive system paired with a dual line guide oscillation mechanism, producing exceptionally smooth rotation, even line lay, and reduced vibration for improved casting distance and accuracy. The 60-pound multi-disc carbon fiber drag delivers smooth, consistent stopping power whether you're targeting large sharks, bull drum, rays, or any other hard-fighting species in the surf. What sets the GARRET 16000 saltwater reel apart is its unmatched versatility: the CNC-machined aluminum Braid-Ready deep spool is included as standard, along with two high-strength graphite spool inserts that allow you to quickly configure the reel for medium-depth or shallow-depth line capacity. Match your setup to your target conditions without buying a second reel. Every component is built for longevity in saltwater. Double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings, a corrosion-resistant CNC aluminum screw-in handle arm, an oversized ball knob, and precision silicone seals at key points work together to keep moisture and salt out — so this reel performs as well on day 300 as it does on day one. For surf anglers who want a serious, full-featured saltwater fishing reel at a price below the major brands — the GARRET 16000 delivers.
