Outdoor Drain Cover Installation Instructions:

1. Measurement and Positioning: Before installation, it is necessary to accurately measure the length and width of the drain and mark the installation position of the cover plate. A level can be used to ensure that the height of the grating is level with the surrounding ground to avoid water accumulation.

2. Foundation Treatment: Place a layer of mortar at the bottom of the trench to improve the stability and bearing capacity of the cover. The thickness of the mortar is generally 3-5 centimeters and must be allowed to set after placement.

3. Placement of the cover: After the mortar has set to a certain degree, the cover is carefully placed on the trench. It is recommended that a rubber mallet be used to gently tap the edges of the cover to ensure that it is firmly bonded to the mortar.

4. Caulk: After the cover is installed, the gaps around the cover must be filled with mortar or other grout to prevent water from seeping in and loosening the cover. Caulk to ensure that the material is uniform to avoid gaps.

5. Maintenance and Inspection: After the installation is completed, the mortar should be maintained, usually need to be kept wet for more than 48 hours to ensure its strength.
