It can lift water up to Max. 21 feet of vertical height. This submersible sump pump works with dirty water, and its bottom grid allows it to pass Max. 1-2/5" solids

SAFETY & STURDY: Full corrosion-resistant rugged cast iron casing, reinforced engineered non-clogging vortex impeller, and oil-filled seal structure gives pump longer durability. Built-in automatic thermal overload protection ensures the septic pump will not be burned out, even when the pump triggers thermal overload protector, the pump will rework after cooling down

AUTO & MANUAL OPERATION: This cast iron pump can work by manually plug in/off operation, just don't risk the pump to be dry running. It also comes with an external vertical mechanical float switch which automatically turns on/off the pump depending on your desired position. Grounded Outlet, a GFCI outlet is strongly recommended
