SPECIFICATIONS & COMPATIBILITY: This CBB65B dual run A/C capacitor 45/5 is rated 45/5 MFD (45+5 µF), 370/440 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with ±5% tolerance and C / FAN / HERM terminals. It is designed for outdoor condenser units in central A/C and heat pump systems, supporting both the compressor and condenser fan motor. It works in 370VAC and 440VAC systems, and a 440VAC rated capacitor can replace a 370VAC unit.

AUTO DISCHARGE, SAFER DIY REPLACEMENT: After power is off, some A/C capacitors may still hold a high voltage charge. The built-in discharge resistor helps bleed off residual voltage over time to reduce shock risk during replacement. It also includes Self-Healing (helps prevent shorts) and P2 Protection (helps reduce bulging risk) for stable, reliable operation, and may help reduce A/C or heat pump electrical issues related to a weak or failing capacitor.

HIGH TEMP RATED FOR OUTDOOR USE: This A/C capacitor is rated for −40 to 185°F (−40 to 85°C). In hot summer weather and direct sun on outdoor A/C or heat pump condenser units, the 185°F temperature rating provides extra temperature headroom and helps maintain stable performance.

EASY DIY WIRING + COMPACT FIT: This A/C capacitor has clearly labeled, color-coded terminals, and the box includes a wiring guide for easier installation. HERM/H (white) to the compressor, FAN/F (green) to the fan, and C (black) is the common terminal. Compact size Ø2.17 × 4.13 in (55 × 105 mm) fits most 2.1 to 2.2 in (54 to 56 mm) mounting straps. If your strap is slightly larger, a small plastic shim or thin spacer can help secure it firmly.
