Description

[8 + 8 GAL DUAL-COMPARTMENT] Sized at 17.32"W x 11.6"D x 26.89"H (36.1"H lid open), this dual compartment motion sensor trash can fits neatly beside cabinets as a space-saving kitchen trash and recycling bin. With two 8-gallon compartments, it’s the right size for everyday trash and recycling. Perfect fit with EKO Code K trash bags, and we include bonus bags so it’s ready to use right out of the box.

[TOUCHLESS MOTION SENSOR] The lid opens in 0.2s and closes automatically after 5 seconds, so you can toss scraps without touching the bin. For longer cooking sessions, tap the stay-open button to keep this motion sensor trash can open for up to 20 minutes. Powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries for up to 8 months of everyday use (do not use rechargeable batteries).

[FINGERPRINT-RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL] This stainless steel kitchen trash can features a fingerprint-resistant, smudge-proof finish that helps keep it looking clean in a busy home. The surface wipes down in seconds and blends seamlessly with modern appliances for a polished, high-end look.

[2 COLOR-CODED INNER BUCKETS WITH HANDLES] Two 8-gallon durable plastic inner buckets lift out easily with the built-in carry handles for quick bag changes and spill cleanups. The color-coded design makes it easy to sort waste and recycling, keeping this dual compartment trash can simple to maintain for everyday kitchen use.

[QUIET SOFT-CLOSE LID & ODOR CONTROL] The lid closes gently to help prevent loud slams and sudden noise, making this motion sensor trash can a quieter fit for busy kitchens. The tight-sealing lid helps keep odors trapped inside the kitchen trash can.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $42 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for EKO products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
