This clever assisted-braking resistor clips to the first bolt, adding just the right amount of friction to balance the system while keeping rope handling smooth and intuitive. Edelrid refined the Ohm’s design in this second generation with a swivel joint that allows for any clipping direction and a secure locking system to prevent accidental opening. It’s easier to load, easier to clean, and keeps the belay flow natural—so we can focus on the send, not the setup.
