ECKDZMY SK1 M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 Expansion Card — Open-Box, 10% Off
Brand: ECKDZMY
Description
Function: The ECKDZMY SK1 M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 Expansion Card turns an unused PCIe X1 slot into a dedicated M.2 Key M port, letting you add high‑capacity NVMe storage without sacrificing your primary X16 slot.
Bandwidth Note: While the X1 interface limits throughput to PCIe X1 speed (not full X4 performance), it effectively utilizes otherwise idle slots and leaves the X16 slot free for graphics or other high‑speed cards.
Drive Compatibility: This adapter supports M.2 NVMe SSDs from 2230 to 2280, with capacities up to 4TB, and is compatible with PCIe 4.0/3.0/2.0/1.0 NVMe and AHCI protocols – but it does not support M.2 SATA drives.
Boot & OS Support: For system boot, you can reinstall the OS and adjust BIOS/UEFI to boot from the installed SSD; note that very old motherboards may only detect it as extra storage. It works plug‑and‑play with Windows 11/10/8, Linux, and Mac OS (Windows 7 is not supported), and a new SSD must be initialized and formatted before recognition.
Package Includes: Pre‑installed 12cm standard bracket, mounting standoffs for 2230/2242/2260/2280 positions, and an M.2 screw for quick installation.
