Automatic Adjustments
①Generally, the default sensing distance should adequate, but the distance can be adjusted without turning off the water if you have a newer model .
②The sensing distance can be changed automatically ,remove all non permanent objects from the sensors view ,hold down the manual override for 20 to 30 seconds until the red light starts to blink ,then release the button ,the unit is now in the distance setting mode which will run for one minute.
③For a water closet, close the door and after one minute the sensor automatically calibrates to the area inside the stall ,for urinals ,you'll have to set up a target in front of the sensor and after one minute the sensor will automatically calibrate.
④An object has to be inside that range for 8 seconds before the sensor will be ready to activate the flush cycle .
Battery Replacement
When required,replace batteries with 4 alkaline type AA batteries.
①,Loosen the retaining screw on battery compartment cover and remove battery compartment cover.
②,Install 4 alkaline type AA batteries exactly as shown in the diagram below.
③,Install battery compartment cover and secure with retaining screw.
④,Make certain that battery compartment cover is fully compressed against gasket to provide a seal; do not overtighten.
Installation
①,Use a 764 inch hex wrench to loose and remove the cover
②,Disconnect the old sensor module
③,Unscrew the battery flap of new sensor modulev
④,insert the batteries,replace and tighten the battery flap
⑤,Plug the sensor module in the solenoid
⑥,Reattach the cover assembly to the unit.
