MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: Measure along your dog's belly to determine the support pad width. For barrel chested dogs (i.e. Boxers), downsizing is common. Try the Towel Test… Fold a bath towel to 5.5 inches wide to simulate the Large/X-Large, then sling it under your dog's belly. If that's too big, then re-fold the towel to 3.5 inches wide to simulate the Medium size
