Description
The Lateral Assembly is specifically designed for Hayward Pro Series Sand filter Model S244T , S244TC . This ensures seamless integration and optimal performance within the existing filtration system.
ENHANCED FILTRATION PERFORMANCE: Separates impurities from the water to provide quality water for your pool. Eliminates filtration issues and cloudy water, get your pool clear again for summer cool off.
Easy to install & Fit Perfectly- Simply remove the broken or old center tube and install a new one in its place. Easy replacement allows you to cost-effectively repair the assembly without having to replace the entire sand filter.
Upgraded Style -- Lateral Assembly is made of higher material. The metal parts are made of chrome-nickel-iron alloy, which is not easy to be rusted. High-quality PVC pipe fittings have strong corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and are not easy to crack.
Don't worry about the pool spitting out sand nearly every day. Put the new lateral assembly inside, making sure all the "spiders" are locked in place. Backwash for about 2 minutes until the water in the sight glass is clear. From now on, there will be no grain of sand in the pool.【There are various models of lateral assemblies in the descriptions below, so there's one for you! 】
Works perfect. Solved the filtration issues and cloudy water.
If you think the old lateral assembly is broken or the pipe has cracks, replace the entire assembly. Replacing small parts or making simple repairs can cause sand to go directly into the return nozzle and into the pool, which can be a mess.
Optimal Water Distribution:
The assembly features a center pipe and multiple folding, umbrella-style laterals that ensure even water distribution within the filter. This design maximizes filtration efficiency by evenly dispersing water, leading to more effective debris removal.
Durable Construction:
Manufactured from high-quality materials, the lateral assembly is built to withstand long-term use in various pool environments. Its robust design ensures reliable performance and longevity, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
Easy Installation:
This compatibility allows pool owners or technicians to restore the filtration system quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
Enhanced Filtration Performance:
By effectively filtering debris and contaminants from the water, the lateral assembly ensures that your pool remains clean and clear. Its design contributes to maintaining optimal water , enhancing the overall swimming experience.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $20 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Duodyeo products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
