The iPad Pro 12.9 from 2018 and newer (so 3rd generation and above) are slightly smaller and may be loose. Or will only work well with a moderately slim case (or very slim keyboard). It may also work with similarly sized Android or Windows tablets, please compare the specs of your device with the specs of the 2015/2017 iPad Pro 12.9 for comparison. The 2015 iPad Pro 12.9 is 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9 mm (12.04 x 8.69 x 0.27 in), so any tablet smaller than that should fit OK. In comparison, the newer iPad Pro 12.9 models are 280.6 x 214.9 x 5.9/6.4).
