HANDMADE: Our blankets are proudly & authentically made in Mexico. They are handmade on wooden looms, just as they've been crafted for generations. We offer a variety of unique color combinations, but due to the artisan nature of these products, slight variations in color and pattern should be expected.

QUALITY: Del Mex falsa blankets are thick and made to last. They are crafted from a soft blend of cotton & recycled acrylic and boast a higher cotton content than cheap knock-offs. Additionally, the edges are folded instead of sewn for added strength & style. Dimensions: 70" x 50" with additional 3" fringe on each end.

MACHINE WASHABLE: These Mexican blankets can be easily washed at home and get softer with each wash. We recommend hang drying to extend the life of your throw. If machine dried, expect lint the first few dries.

SUPPORTING EDUCATION: We donate a portion of each sale to 3 different organizations in rural Tlaxcala and Veracruz, Mexico. These groups educate girls who often don’t have access to education beyond elementary school. Your purchase helps make a difference in the lives of these children.

These Mexican blankets have been around for decades for good reason-- They are awesome blankets. Great for the beach, for camping, Yoga, a day at the park, or just to keep in your bedroom or living room. Great to keep in the car for that sponatenous day trip. Each blanket is made on wooden looms direct from Mexico, and as such expect slight variations in the colors or patterns. Beware that many other blankets offered here on Amazon are made in India of questionable materials. Not ours, all are directly made in Tlaxcala Mexico using Fair Trade practices and using recycled materials. Your purchase keeps these materials from ending up in a landfill. These blankets are machine washable and get softer with each subsequent wash so that they only get better with time. Please note the first few washes there will be a bit of lint, this is normal and will subside after the first few washes. We recommend hang dry, but they can also be dried in dryer with no or low heat. We give a portion of each sale back to the rural community to assist with education of girls in Tlaxcala and Veracruz.
