Description
Broader Compatibility and Faster Charging: The TC28 series was designed to solve a common problem: when using a phone with a DAC/amp for music, the charging port is occupied, which can lead to battery anxiety during extended use. Compared to the TC28C Pro, the TC28Max supports significantly higher charging power, increasing from 10W to a maximum of 60W.(Note: This product can only be used by connecting directly to a mobile phone or DAC with a USB-C interface. It cannot be connected to adapters or mobile phones with other interfaces.)
Dual-Way Power Supply for Enhanced Audio: The TC28Max seamlessly connects your smartphone, DAC/amp, and power bank. It not only charges your phone simultaneously but also delivers stable power to your DAC/amp. This consistent voltage and current output allow the audio decoding and operational amplifier chips to perform at their best, resulting in improved sound quality.
Compact CNC Metal Housing: The reliable performance of the TC28Max stems from its high-quality structural design. The housing is precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum using CNC technology. The top and bottom covers are assembled with a screw-free snap-fit process, making the overall structure compact, solid, and highly durable.
Slim Size with Durable Construction: Supports USB PD3.1 protocol, equipped with 3 sets of 6-channel DRP USB-C and PD communication modules which features AOS MOS for switch control, independently placed in the circuit to support up to 10A current.
Secure and Reliable Performance: The adapter is equipped with integrated switch control, reference voltage, error amplification, over-temperature protection, current limiting, and short-circuit protection functions, ensuring safety and reliability.Meanwhile, it adopts a four-layer gold-plated PCB for excellent anti-interference performance, and the USB-C female port has a lifespan of up to 10,000 insertion cycles.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $11 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for DD products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
