DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS: Decades of building beds and supporting our customers has allowed us to develop crystal clear instructions and diagrams that are easy to follow. Every question or comment we’ve received has gone into making these the best plans around. Online instructional video, illustrated instruction booklets, cut sheets, bills of materials, and templates are included with each kit.
MADE IN THE USA - LIFETIME WARRANTY: Proudly made in the USA for over 35 years - trusted by major hotel chains. We’re big on quality, and to back it up, each bed comes with a lifetime warranty. The design, thickness of steel, and commercial grade pistons are meant to last a lifetime and then some.
Horizontal Full finished measurements: 62 5/16 in H x 81 in W x 15 7/8 in D (closed) x 61 in D (open)
NOT INCLUDED: Lumber and Mattress (Innerspring Full Mattress size up to 54W x 75L in x 6 to 12 in H)
These Deluxe Murphy Bed Kits include all the necessary hardware included in our standard kits, plus a pair of folding metal legs that support the end of the bed when it's folded out, and tuck neatly inside the bed when stored. One tug is all it takes, and the bed folds out smoothly and silently on state-of-the-art gas pistons. The folding bed hardware is finely engineered, counterbalanced for smooth operation without binding or overextending, and uses a sophisticated piston lift system rather than old-fashioned springs that can break and slacken over time. The beds are held securely closed, and open gently for safety. Steel pivot pin and bracket points install easily without adjustments. Includes instructions for basic cabinet construction.
Technical Details:
Deluxe Murphy Bed Hardware Kits include folding tube legs, which are totally concealed inside the bed cabinet when it is closed and are manually rotated over the end of the bed face panel when it is lowered out of the cabinet.
The perfect wall bed hardware for guest beds, small rooms, dorms and apartments.
State of the art piston lift system and counter balancing ensure smooth operation.
No floor mounting required; Cabinet must be anchored to the wall to ensure safety.
Cabinet can be made of plycore, particle board or solid wood.
Maximum mattress thickness: 12"
Recommended for standard mattress sizes; no box spring is used.
Hardware kits carry a Lifetime Warranty.
Basic Cabinet Dimensions for Side Mount Deluxe Murphy Beds:
Full (43932): 62-5/16"H x 81"W x 15-7/8"D (closed) x 61"D (open)

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $86 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Create-A-Bed products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
