PLEASE NOTE: The cigar boxes included in this kit are REAL cigar boxes that once held cigars. They may show light wear (minor cosmetic scuffs, dings, etc) from their previous life - but that is part of the appeal of building DIY instruments!
You will only need a saw, screwdriver and a drill. You won’t need a dedicated woodshop or expensive tools. Each kit includes a 26-page, easy to follow guide chock full of detailed photos and instructions.
