【Compatibility】 This CENMING RCS213-A remote is NOT universal, it is a replacement remote of RCS213 compatible with Minka-Aire, it works at frequency 303.9MHz. Compatible with Minka-Aire ceiling fans with a manual reverse switch on motor, NOT suitable for other ceiling fans. Make sure your original remote control is the same as the picture, and check the number on the back of your original remote, it needs to have FCC ID/Model: RCS213/ RCS213-A / MK-AC, otherwise the remote may not match your receiver.
【Functionality】 This remote is designed to separately handle your ceiling fan light brightness and fan speed. This remote control has the light On/Off switch and full range light dimmer. This remote control features 3-speed fan control and Off.
【Easy Install】 CENMING remote is original OEM manufacture and FCC approved. Check the 8 DIP switches inside the old remote with the battery cover off as picture shows. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote. Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work. If it does not work, please purchase a complete kit with a receiver in the store.

If your fan have pull chain switch, before using the wireless remote control, use the switch to turn the fan speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. In this way the switch and the wireless remote control can be used together.

1. Fails to operate
a. Power to receiver ?
b. Receiver wired correctly ?
c. Fan manual speed control in highest position
d. Light kit switch turned on ?
e. Good battery in the transmitter ?
f. Are there other remotes that cause radio interference with each other?
2. Won't operate at distance
If transmitter operates fan/light kit when up close, but not at 20 feet away.
Try placing the antenna wire higher, up through ceiling/outside the junction box.
