How to know when it’s time to replace your o-ring? It’s best practice to replace your filter’s o-ring every 2-3 years to maintain optimal performance and prevent leaks. However, water conditions and the tightness of the filter closure can affect service life. The o-ring will eventually wear out from being compressed in the filter band over the course of the year/years.
