Description

Manufactured in the USA, the Buckle Boss Transit is made of durable plastic and sized to fit front-facing seat belt buttons found on many buses and wheelchairs.

Helps reduce accidental or premature unbuckling during transport, offering additional security for children, adults with disabilities, and other vulnerable passengers.

Designed for use in school buses, golf carts, wheelchairs, and other vehicles with standard seat belts featuring a front-facing release button.

Built with integrated guide tabs to help center and stabilize the guard on wider belt receptacles, common in transportation fleets.

Commonly used by bus drivers, caregivers, and transport providers to support passenger safety without interfering with seat belt operation.

The guard can be removed by inserting a slim object, such as a key or flat tool, into one of the side openings.

Installs without tools. Slides directly over the seat belt release button and stays securely in place during use.

The Buckle Boss Transit Seat Belt Guard is designed to help prevent accidental or intentional release of seat belts with front-facing buttons. Commonly used on buses, wheelchairs, and other transport vehicles, it provides a secure fit for larger seat belt receptacles. This model is slightly wider than traditional "push and turn" guards and includes centered tabs to help stabilize the device on oversized belts. It installs without tools and can be removed using any slim object such as a key. Ideal for use in environments where additional restraint is required—such as special education transport, dementia care, and elder services—it helps reduce the risk of unbuckling during transit. Made in the USA using durable materials, the Buckle Boss Transit is a practical solution for enhancing seat belt safety in a range of passenger care situations. Note: Ensure passengers do not have access to small items that could be used to bypass the lock.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $3 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Buckle Boss products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
