Applicable model:Rubber Feet Strips for Dell XPS 13 9300 9301 9310
Installation One Method:
You need to remove the old, hard, pad that remained after the rubber part peeled away. You can do this on the outside.
Another Method:
Removing the bottom of the case and pushing through where the holes that align the pad into the case was cleaner.
1 You either pry with a tool that can get between the case and the pad that is already one the Dell XPS, or push on it from the other side which can help prevent scuffing damage on the exterior case.
2 After you remove the pad, you need to remove the adhesive that is left behind. You can use a flathead screw driver was effective at this job, but anything that can scrape inside the pad well will work.
3 Once the residue is remove, dust it with a cloth wherein I recommend a microfiber, and scrub with isopropyl alcohol after you dry dusted it.
4 When you finish the cleanup, you need to remember that these pads are "keyed" to fit in the spots that the old pads came out from. One side has four bumps the other side has three bumps. You have to make sure the bumps line up with the holes in the case before you can press firmly to seat and adhere the new pads into place. Gentle pressing/manipulation on where the bumps are to make sure they would seat in the holes was needed.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $3 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for xifaven products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
