Description

Heavy-Duty Winter Protection: This heavy-duty pool cover is built from tear-resistant 10x12 scrim woven polyethylene that handles harsh off-season weather

Extends Cover Life, Blocks Sunlight: Built with heat-sealed seams, this swimming pool cover ensures a watertight bond, blocking leaves, debris and rain while extending cover life; the black underside blocks sunlight to help inhibit dirt buildup

Stays Secure in Wind and Snow: The sewn loops every 4 ft around the inground pool cover allow you to secure it with water tubes (sold separately) for a snugger fit, with no deck anchors required

Minimizes Water Evaporation: This solid construction of this rectangular pool tarp helps retain water by limiting exposure to air, reducing evaporation over winter

Proper Handling and Care: Simply clear the buildup from the pool edge with a soft-bristle broom after a heavy snow, or use a cover pump to remove standing water that collects on top of the pool winter cover after storms

Debris Cover, Not a Safety Cover: This in ground pool cover is built to keep out the elements through the off-season; it is not made for foot traffic and should never be walked on or used to support weight

Securing Hardware Included: This pool cover for inground pools comes with a vinyl-coated cable and metal winch that thread through grommets every 2 ft for straightforward installation

Reliable Quality from Blue Wave: Backed by an 12-year limited warranty (full coverage in year 1, prorated coverage in years 2 through 12), U.S.-based customer support, and over 35 years of pool industry experience

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $7 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Blue Wave products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
