Blue Monster PTFE Thread Sealing Tape is a thicker, denser, all-purpose thread sealing tape that comes in a monstrous 1.4" roll. This is 5 times more tape than conventional rolls of thin tape with low density. Fewer wraps are needed to interfere with a leak proof seal and it is easy to apply. No waste and no re-gluing make sealing joints a breeze. Now available in a smaller roll of Mini Monster PTFE thread sealing tape. Blue Monster thread sealing tape is made from PTFE resin, a polymer consisting of recurring tetrafluoroethylene monomers whose formula (CF2-CF2) takes. It is inert and compatible with a very wide range of materials. Use Blue Monster on threads made of galvanised steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS, fiberglass and more. It can be used on pipes with the following devices: acids, concentrated (see precautions) and acids, diluted alcohol, gasohol aliphatic solvents, aromatic solvents, chlorinated solvents ammonia, liquid etchants, concentrated (see precautions), compressed air, steam, water separating oils, diesel oils, ethylene glycol, glycerol fatty acids, heating oils, Kerosenin in hydrauliquids, hydraulic oils, hydrogen. Gaseous and liquid ID, protective gases, gaseous and liquid jet ketones, petroleum solvents, liquid petroleum, mineral oils, vegetable oils, nitrogen, gaseous and liquid soap, liquid. SPECIFICATIONS Pressure Range: Mill-Rose Blue Monster thread sealing tape was used to seal fittings with water and oil at pressures up to 10,000 PSI or 69,000 kPa.
