2. Die selection (up pliers): Choose a die smaller than the watch rear cover—this targets pressure on the rear cover’s edge (not the watch face) to avoid case deformation. Install it into the up pliers’ screw-socket.

3. Watch placement: Place the watch crystal face-down on the under die, ensuring it’s centered. Then align the rear cover with the watch case, positioning it correctly (aligning notches or threads if applicable).

4. Press operation: Hold the press tool’s handles and press down lightly—stop once you feel slight resistance (over-pressing may damage the watch case or crystal).
