⚠️ IMPORTANT — Installation Tip (Please Read Before Installing):

For the door closer to function properly and last for years, your sliding door track MUST be clean and well-lubricated BEFORE installation. Here‘s what to do:

Clean the track thoroughly — Use a vacuum cleaner or a cloth to remove all dust, dirt, metal shavings, and debris from the track groove. Even small particles can create friction that affects the closer’s performance.

Lubricate moving parts — Apply a silicone-based lubricant or White Lithium Grease to the door rollers and along the track. This reduces friction, ensures smooth sliding, and extends the lifespan of both your door and the closer mechanism.

Test the door — Before mounting the closer, open and close the door manually several times to ensure it glides freely. If the door sticks or drags, the closer will struggle to do its job.

A few minutes of prep work will save you frustration and ensure your door closer works perfectly from day one.
