Automatic mode: Uses aquarium flow to guide substrate-surface debris and floating fine particles toward the inlet. It does not pull debris from every area by suction alone. Performance varies by placement, flow direction, and fish species.

Handheld mode: Move slowly along the substrate surface to remove visible fish waste and debris. Designed for surface cleaning only; do not stir or disturb deeper substrate layers.

Recirculating air-lift system: Water returns to the aquarium while waste stays in the sponge. Unlike impeller-driven devices, it collects debris without shredding it, helping reduce cloudiness. Requires a 1.5–2 W air pump; not included.

V2 upgraded parts: The soft PE filter cap is easier to see and helps reduce accidental loss during cleaning. The redesigned polycarbonate pipe connector provides a tighter, more secure fit.

Setup and sponge care: Choose by water depth—Small 7–10.6 in, Medium 10.6–17.7 in, Large 13.8–23.6 in. Keep the sponge submerged about 0.4 in below the surface. Knead the 60 PPI sponge underwater with tap water; replace if flow does not recover.
