MULTI-PURPOSE AND FINISH-FRIENDLY: Using a grain filler before painting or lacquering smooths the wood surface and seals pores to reduce topcoat absorption. The result is fewer coats required and a more efficient finishing process. Aqua Coat grain fillers are compatible with both oil-based and water-based primers, paints, and lacquers. The White Grain Filler can also be mixed with water-soluble pigments or dyes for tinting.

SIMPLE TO APPLY: Spread the White Cabinet Grain Filler generously into the wood’s open pores by working against the grain with a small squeegee, bondo blade, old credit card, or gloved fingers. Scrape away any excess following the grain with the same tools. Let the filler dry for 45–60 minutes, then lightly sand with 320 grit or higher sandpaper or a fine scotchbrite pad before applying additional filler or your first coat of primer or paint
