Professional-Grade Espresso, Elevated Design

Transform your espresso routine with the Abu Home premium 54mm bottomless portafilter. This naked-style filter holder pairs professional functionality with an elegant design. We combine precision engineering with high-quality, food-grade materials built to last.

What is a bottomless portafilter?

Unlike traditional spouted portafilters, the bottomless design lets you watch your espresso extraction in real time. This allows you to see channeling the moment it happens, helping you dial in your grind and tamp with precision for richer, more even crema.

Is the wood handle heat-resistant?

Yes, the premium natural wood handle is naturally heat-resistant. It stays completely cool to the touch even while you use the steam wand nearby, giving you a comfortable and stable grip through every pull with no heat-glove required.

Premium Stainless Steel Construction

The stainless steel brew head delivers steady pressure and even extraction. It naturally resists rust and pitting with regular use, easily holding up to daily wear at home or behind a busy coffee service counter.

Does it come with a filter basket?

Yes, this set comes complete with a matching stainless steel precision filter basket. It arrives ready to install and brew with no separate purchases needed.

How do I clean it?

Cleaning is simple. The stainless steel head rinses clean under warm running water after each use. For a deeper clean, the filter basket easily detaches from the main head in seconds so you can wipe down the components.

Built for Daily Use

With balanced weight distribution and sturdy construction, this portafilter is a reliable upgrade for home baristas and a dependable replacement part for small coffee setups. It is designed to fit standard 54mm semi-automatic espresso machines, delivering consistent results shot after shot.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $12 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Abu Home products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
