3" PVC 45 Degree Wye DWV Sanitary Y-TEE Street Drain Waste white — Open-Box, 15% Off

CONSTRUCTION: Used in sanitary drain, waste, and vent (DWV), sewer and storm drainage applications.Wye with three openings for connecting and branching three pipes.

ANGLE DESIGN: Adds A "Y" INTERSECTION: As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC wye adds a “Y” intersection to the pipeline as it connects three pipes of the same type and diameter size together; it also adds an intersection connecting drainage product to drain pipe.

DIMENSIONS: Creates A 45-DEGREE BRANCH: Adds a “Y” intersection to 3 in. Sewer & Drain pipe in non-pressurized drainage and sewer piping systems,CONNECTS DRAINAGE SYSTEM COMPONENTS: Adds a “Y” intersection from select drainage products such as channel drain outlets, Flo-Well Dry Well System, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters to 3 in.

INSTALLATION: Lightweight, easy to install, Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement. Not intended for pressure use.For use where systems will not exceed 140° F.Do not test or use with compressed air.

DURABILITY: PVC-DWV for corrosion resistance, high strength, and less weight than fittings made from metal,High chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols, halogens, and other corrosive media.

Wye pipe fitting is made of PVC for drain, waste, and vent systems (DWV) and has hub connections. This wye fitting is Y-shaped and connects three pipes through a main run and two branch lines that split off at a 45-degree angle. Pipe dimensions for wyes are represented as A x B x C. "A" and "B" indicate the main run on the fitting, and "C" indicates the branch. It has female hub openings for sliding over the ends of male pipes. The hub end connects to pipes with a smooth bore for enhanced flow. This fitting is made of PVC for use in non-pressure residential and commercial drain, waste, and vent (DWV) sanitary systems. PVC resists corrosion and chemicals, exhibits high strength, and weighs less than fittings made from metal. PVC can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings. Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Manufactures flow-control products for construction, industrial, fire protection, and irrigation applications.
