Answer: First, make sure that your card is the same RFID frequency of 125kHz. Not all RFID cards are 125kHz type. For example, the frequency of some popular key cards are 13.56MHz, which is also called NFC card or IC card. Cards of different frequencies are incompatible.
Second, make sure that your RFID card writer can work for the frequency 125kHz, and that you set it in the right channel. Some RFID card writers have several working frequencies.
