Description

Universal Fit by Size and Force - extended 18.0 in, compressed 10.5 in, stroke 7.5 in, 30 lb (133.0N) per strut. Measure your old strut before ordering. All-Weather Durability - crafted from Grade 45 high-carbon steel with multi-layer chrome plating and anti-wear hydraulic oil; performs reliably from -40F to 110F, resisting leaks and pressure loss. Built to Last - engineered for 50,000+ compression cycles without force loss; rust and oxidation resistant. Wide Uses - camper shell, truck cap window, RV door, toolbox, bed cover, cabinet, storage lid and more. Package includes 2 struts (2 Pcs). Cross Reference: replaces SE180P30. Verify extended length and force rating against your original strut before buying. Q1. How do I choose the right gas strut? Match two numbers: extended length (18.0 in) and force per strut (30 lb / 133.0N). Measure your old strut end-to-end at full extension.

Q2. What can I use these on? Camper shells, truck cap windows, RV doors and hatches, toolboxes, bed covers, cabinets and storage lids - any lift with matching mounts.

Q3. How many do I get? 2 struts per order - replace both sides together for balanced lift.

Q4. When should I replace? If the lid sags, will not stay open, or closes too fast - the struts have lost pressure.

Q5. How durable are they? Grade 45 high-carbon steel, multi-layer chrome plating, anti-wear hydraulic oil, 50,000+ compression cycles, stable from -40F to 110F.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $1 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for QiMox products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
