This Versagel ME 750 is a specialized, thick gel base for use in cosmetics such as lip glosses. It has a high viscosity, making it excellent for the suspension of micas, mineral pigments, and glitters. Mixes best with other non-polar ingredients such as oils and emollients which can be used to change the texture or reduce stickiness. If you choose to mix with other ingredients such as oils, do so slowly and in small increments to prevent inconsistencies in the final texture. Should you experience clumping when adding non-polar oils, keep mixing in a gentle manner; the gel will return to a smooth texture as the ingredients settle with each other! A wider mixing tool may speed the blending process as the Gloss Base (gel) is thick in its packaged state. This product is vegan, clear, gluten-free, and does not contain any other blended ingredients.
