Engineered for professional mechanics and technicians, this comprehensive thread restoration kit is designed to repair worn, rusted, or damaged metric threads without removing valuable material. The set includes precisely machined chasers for the most common automotive thread sizes—M12×1.75, M12×1.5, M12×1.25, M10×1.5, M10×1.25, M8×1.25, and M6×1.0—along with a versatile thread restorer file, providing a complete solution for restoring both internal and external threads. Crafted from high-carbon steel, each chaser is built for strength and durability, featuring a hex-shaped drive that securely fits any standard wrench or socket for controlled, accurate operation. The unique design gently cleans and realigns existing threads, effectively removing rust, debris, and light corrosion while preserving the original thread pitch and depth—making it ideal for cylinder heads, engine blocks, suspension components, and other critical automotive applications.
