AUTOMATIC OPERATION: Equipped with a vertical float switch and a standard 10-foot power cord with piggy-back plug, the water pump automatically turns on at 5.5 inches and off at 1.6 inches. (Max. submersion depth 8 ft)

MANUAL OPERATION: This utility pump features a 16.4-foot power cord for manual plug-in and unplug operation. It can drain water down to just 2/5 inch from the surface. To prevent damage, please avoid running the pump dry. (Max. submersion depth 13 ft)
