Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro | Art - E-mount (for Sony) — Refurbished, 28% Off

The Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro | Art is the first macro lens in the Art line specifically redesigned for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Prioritizing optical performance above all else, this lens is engineered to deliver breathtaking resolution and incredible clarity, making it a go-to choice for professional macro, portrait, and still-life photographers who demand 1:1 magnification.

Razor-Sharp Macro Performance
Unlike many macro lenses that prioritize autofocus speed, the Sigma 70mm Art is built for uncompromising image quality.

Advanced Optics: Featuring two FLD (F Low Dispersion) elements, two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements, and two aspherical elements, this lens effectively suppresses axial chromatic aberration to produce high-contrast images without color bleeding.

Floating Focus Mechanism: The extending, floating two-group focus mechanism minimizes aberration at every shooting distance, ensuring the lens remains sharp from infinity down to its minimum focusing distance of 25.8cm.

Smooth Control and Modern AF
Coreless DC Motor: To achieve the precision required for macro photography, this lens utilizes a coreless DC motor with a latest-generation algorithm. This system provides smooth autofocus while supporting Sony’s Full-time Manual Focus override.

Focus-by-Wire System: The electronic manual focus ring provides a comfortable amount of resistance, allowing for the minute, delicate adjustments necessary when shooting at 1:1 magnification.

Optimized for Mirrorless
As a "DG DN" lens, it is fully compatible with Sony’s advanced camera features, including Fast Hybrid AF and in-camera image stabilization. The lens also supports in-camera lens aberration correction (shading, chromatic aberration, and distortion), ensuring your JPEGs and RAW files look their best straight out of the camera.

Built for the Studio and the Field
The lens features a robust brass bayonet mount with a rubber seal, making it dust- and splash-resistant. The barrel is constructed from Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) to maintain high-precision performance in varying temperatures. Whether you are capturing the fine textures of a product or the intricate details of nature, this lens is a precision instrument built to last.
