Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN | Art - E-mount (for Sony) Camera Lens — Refurbished, 10% Off

The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN | Art is a complete ground-up redesign of Sigma’s most iconic focal length, engineered specifically for the short flange distance of mirrorless systems. By optimizing the optical path for the Sony E-mount, Sigma achieved a level of performance that surpasses its legendary DSLR predecessor while remaining significantly more compact and lightweight. This lens is the definitive choice for professionals who require a "storytelling" field of view, making it a gold-standard tool for capturing everything from intimate portraits to expansive landscapes with surgical precision.

Elite Optical Performance
Bright f/1.4 Maximum Aperture: Provides extraordinary light-gathering capabilities and a razor-thin depth of field, allowing you to isolate subjects with a dream-like, professional background blur.

Advanced Glass Configuration: Features 15 elements in 11 groups, including 1 FLD (F-Low Dispersion), 1 ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion), 2 SLD (Special Low Dispersion), and 2 aspherical elements. These work in tandem to virtually eliminate sagittal coma flare and chromatic aberration.

Super Multi-Layer and Nano Porous Coating: Sigma’s specialized coatings drastically reduce ghosting and flare, ensuring high-contrast imagery even when shooting directly into harsh sunlight or studio strobes.

Professional Handling and Control
De-clickable Aperture Ring: Features a physical aperture ring with a dedicated "Click" switch, allowing photographers to feel each stop and videographers to make smooth, silent exposure transitions during live recording.

Aperture Ring Lock Switch: Provides an extra layer of security by preventing the ring from being accidentally moved from the "Auto" position to the manual range, or vice versa, during high-pressure shoots.

Customizable AFL Button: Equipped with a programmable button on the lens barrel that can be assigned various functions through the Sony camera body, such as Eye-AF or Focus Magnification.

Built for the Real World
Fast Stepping Motor (STM): A high-torque, near-silent autofocus motor provides the speed and accuracy required for the latest tracking technology, ensuring the focus stays locked on your subject’s eyes during candid moments.

Weather-Resistant Construction: Extensively sealed at the mount and all critical points to ensure reliable operation in light rain or dusty environments. The front element features a water- and oil-repellent coating for easy maintenance.

11-Blade Rounded Diaphragm: Specifically designed to produce exceptionally smooth, circular bokeh highlights, even when the lens is stopped down slightly.
