Description

The Samsung QN42S90H is a 42-inch Class (41.5" measured diagonal) 4K OLED smart TV from Samsung's 2026 S90H series, part of the Vision AI lineup. It's built around the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, powered by 128 neural networks, making it a compact but feature-rich OLED option.

Glare Free screen technology eliminates distracting reflections for pixel-perfect contrast in any lighting, while self-illuminating pixels deliver precise contrast and colour. 4K AI Upscaling Pro upscales HD, Full HD, and SD content toward 4K using deep-learning AI, AI Motion Enhancer Pro reduces motion blur and judder in fast-moving sports and action content, and Auto HDR Remastering transforms SDR content to HDR-like quality. Pantone Validated Color ensures accuracy for realistic, true-to-life skin tones and hues.

The TV runs One UI Tizen with Samsung Vision AI, offering content recommendations, Generative Wallpaper, and real-time on-screen translation. SmartThings Hub is built in for controlling compatible smart home devices directly from the TV, and Samsung Knox security includes 7 years of automatic OS updates.

AI Sound Controller Pro identifies dialogue, music, and ambient sound and optimizes each for the room and content being watched.

The Ultimate Gaming Pack includes up to 165Hz refresh rate, ALLM, VRR, and NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility.

Connectivity includes four HDMI ports (one with eARC) with full bandwidth for next-gen consoles and PC, three USB ports, 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E), and Ethernet. Built-in Samsung Bixby and Amazon Alexa provide voice control, and on-device AI pet monitoring can detect a dog's barking and trigger custom alerts or content.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $400 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for SAMSUNG products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
