Panasonic S 35mm f/1.8 - L-mount Camera Lens — Refurbished, 34% Off

The Panasonic LUMIX S 35 mm f/1.8 is a versatile wide-angle prime lens designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras from Panasonic, Leica, Sigma, and other L-mount Alliance systems. With a classic 35 mm focal length and a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, this lens delivers a natural perspective great for landscapes, street scenes, environmental portraits, and everyday shooting. The large-diameter optics help produce smooth background separation and attractive bokeh, while the fast aperture improves low-light performance.
Constructed with 11 elements in 9 groups, including three aspherical elements and three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) elements, the optical design reduces chromatic aberrations and maintains sharpness, contrast, and clarity across the frame. Its nine-blade rounded diaphragm contributes to pleasing out-of-focus highlights.
Autofocus performance is swift, accurate, and quiet — ideal for stills and video — and the lens incorporates features that suppress focus breathing and smooth aperture control for more professional-looking video capture. The dust-, splash-, and freeze-resistant design enables reliable use in varied weather conditions, allowing creators to shoot confidently outdoors even in challenging environments.
Compact and lightweight (≈295 g) with a 67 mm filter thread, this lens balances nicely on a variety of L-mount camera bodies and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk, making it a comfortable walk-around option. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.24 m (0.79 ft) and 0.22× magnification, it also offers flexibility for close-up work.
In the box, you’ll typically find the lens itself, front and rear caps, and a lens hood, along with a limited manufacturer warranty. Overall, the Panasonic LUMIX S 35 mm f/1.8 is a well-rounded, high-optical-quality prime that suits both photographers and videographers looking for a reliable wide-angle lens with strong performance and handling.
