Supplied with all the components you need to ensure seamless installation for any freestanding bathtub, it's the perfect combination of convenience and functionality. IMPROVED DESIGN: Crafted with a smaller asymmetrical deck plate, this tub drain will not interfere with any free standing faucets and will make installation in tight areas easier. Install in an 8" or greater joist space with a 1-1/2"/2" P-trap or slab on grade construction. It also includes a deeper well design to accommodate bath drain fittings. BUILT TO LAST: The tub drain features a PVC pipe body for durability. Enabling the freestanding tub location to be defined at rough-in (install before tiling), it allows for tub fitting over a finished floor (access below the fixture is not needed). TESTABLE: Built with a snap-off test cap (rated to 30 psi), it enables water, air, and smoke testing. The bathtub drain has a 2" DWV hub connection, while the epoxy-coated, 18-gauge metal deck flange features holes to lock in thinset. Constructed with durability in mind, the PVC body allows for defining the freestanding tub location at rough-in and fitting over a finished floor without needing access below the fixture.
