Description

Upgrade your home entertainment with the Open Box Hisense 55U78QG 55” Mini-LED QLED Pro 4K UHD Google Smart TV. Designed for movies, sports, streaming, and high-performance gaming, this TV combines Mini-LED Pro backlighting, Quantum Dot colour, and 4K Ultra HD resolution to deliver bright, sharp, and lifelike picture quality.

Mini-LED Pro technology uses thousands of tiny LEDs for more precise brightness control, while Full Array Local Dimming helps improve contrast by making dark scenes deeper and bright highlights more impactful. With up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and an anti-reflection screen, the 55U78QG is built to perform well in both bright and dark rooms.

Quantum Dot technology delivers rich, vibrant colours, making movies, shows, sports, and games look more realistic. The 4K Ultra HD resolution provides sharp detail, while HDR support including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG helps compatible content show improved contrast, brighter highlights, and deeper dark scenes.

Built-in Google TV gives you easy access to popular streaming apps, movies, shows, and personalized recommendations in one simple interface. With Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa support, Apple Home compatibility, and AirPlay 2, this TV is designed to fit easily into a modern smart home setup.

For gamers and sports fans, the 165Hz refresh rate, Game Mode Ultra, Variable Refresh Rate from 48Hz to 165Hz, Auto Low Latency Mode, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro help provide smoother motion, reduced input lag, and a more responsive gaming experience with compatible consoles and PCs.

The Hisense 55U78QG also features Dolby Atmos 2.1.2 audio with a built-in subwoofer for a more immersive sound experience. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio output, RF input, mini jack, and headphone output, giving you plenty of options for soundbars, gaming consoles, streaming devices, and other accessories.

This is an Open Box unit, meaning the packaging may have been opened, but the product is intended to be fully functional and ready for use.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $203 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for HISENSE products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
