Do not run the pump dry or apply external battery power directly to the pump. Before judging the pump defective, please check battery voltage, fuses, wiring connector, ground connection, thermostat, coolant level, fault codes, and possible trapped air in the cooling system. After bleeding, recheck coolant level, inspect for leaks, and monitor engine temperature during the first test drive.
