Application: These brake pads are specifically designed for 2008-2015 800 all-terrain motorcycles, including different versions such as the 800 and 800 S, to replace old brake pads in all four brake calipers on the front and rear wheels.
Providing Friction Braking Force: Brake pads are the direct actuators in disc brake systems that convert kinetic energy into heat energy to achieve braking. When the rider depresses the brake pedal, the piston in the brake caliper pushes the brake pads, clamping them tightly against the brake disc (brake disc) that rotates with the wheel. Through immense friction, the wheel's speed is forced to decrease until it stops.
Restoring Braking Performance: Over time, brake pads wear down and become resulting in longer braking distance and reduced braking force. Replacing with new brake pads can immediately restore the vehicle's original braking distance and pedal feel. When the friction material on the brake pads is depleted, the metal backing plate rubs directly against the brake disc, causing scratches or even rendering the brake disc unusable.
