Replaces your original Thru-Axle so you can attach a bike trailer to your Thru Axle bike.

The true length of the axle shaft is from 167mm to 185mm and can be shortened by using the included spacers.

You need a standard 5mm hex wrench to do the installing work. The bike trailer hitch is not included in this kit.

NOTE: Thru-Axle lengths do not equal to hub standards. An axle has to be longer than the hub to fit with the bike frame. A 12×148 hub does not equal a 148mm long axle.

You may able to attach a trailer hitch to your QR system without a adapter, but if your bike use 12mm Thru Axle, you need a Thru Axle Adapter to get the bike trailer attached. How to choose the right Thru Axle Adapter? Step 1: Check the thread pitch and axle length. Shaft Length Measure your stocked axle shaft length as we pictured. If your original axle shaft length is 171mm, you should buy the 174mm one from us, you can shorten it to 171mm with the spacers included. Thread Pitch 1.Check if there’s thread pitch marked on the axle body. 2.If the thread pitch was not marked on the axle, you can also measure it with a mm ruler. Here’s how to do it: Align the first thread teeth to 0, if the No.11 teeth right align to the 10mm, it’s a 1.0 thread pitch. Align the first thread teeth to 0, if the No.8 teeth right between the 10mm and 11mm, it’s a 1.5 thread pitch. Align the first thread teeth to 0, if the No.7 teeth right between the 10mm and 11mm, it’s a 1.75 thread pitch. If you still unsure about your thread type please consult with your bike brand’s after service line or go to local bike shop for help. How to choose the right adapter? For example: If measured axle shaft length is 167mm, thread pitch is 1.0, you should choose the M12 x 1.0 167mm Thru Axle adapter, but M12x1.0 174mm axle will also fit by using sapcers How to install? It would be better if you spread some grease on the thread before install it. You can adjust the shaft length for 9mm with the spacers included. If your original axle come with a conical spacer, you must use the conical too. There's no harm If the thread come out a bit.
