Description

It has been professionally inspected and cleaned to excellent condition. This product has been determined fully functional by our industry leading 30+ point functionality inspection. UL approved power adapter and charging cable is included. This product will not come in its original packaging; Headphones, SIM card and manual will not be included. *Please note that the maximum iOS this iPad model can support is iOS 12.5.7, therefore some apps will not download to this iPad. Please be certain that the apps you require are compatible before purchasing. This iPad is still a great choice for web browsing, email, and watching videos (within the web browser).* The iPad Mini 2nd Generation from Apple has a smaller form factor than its big brother, the iPad Air. The iPad Mini 2 is just 7.5mm thin and weighs less than 1 pound. Its smaller form factor makes it easier to hold in one hand. The 7.9" Retina Display makes its debut on the iPad Mini 2, maintaining its enormous 2048 x 1536 native resolution. At 326 pixels per inch, the Retina Display can show up to 3.1 million pixels at a time. The Retina Display is also a capacitive touchscreen so you'll be able to utilize all the multi-touch gestures of iOS 7. While the iPad Mini 2 may have a smaller form factor than the iPad Air, it still has the same dual-core A7 chip. Apple introduces the 64-bit architecture with the A7 chip, allowing for more robust and powerful apps. In fact, the A7 chip runs four times faster than the previous generation iPad Mini. Also, the A7 chip supports OpenGL ES version 3.0 so the iPad Mini 2 can enable detailed graphics and visual effects once only possible on desktop computers and game consoles.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $61 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for APPLE products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
