Instead of manually operate, this electric tailgate lift relying an actuator and plug to achieve remote control by key fob.

Installation - 1. Keep the rear gate door open on max height and remove inner trim panel; 2. Unplug the plug, use tools to loose the old spherical joint and insert new one; 3. Plug the liftgate plug and recover the inner trim panel; 4. Use diagnostic scanner to clear error code, just use scanner to clear if show negative/occasional; replace the lift struts if show permanent.
